Car pre-wash

Why is car pre-washing so important?

The importance of pre-washing a car cannot be overstated! Most of the dirt on a car's surface is tiny grit, which can easily scratch the car's paintwork if not removed correctly. The main principle of pre-washing is to remove as much dirt as possible from the car's surfaces before any mechanical contact.

Is rinsing with just water enough?

Rinsing with water before mechanical washing is always good, but a pre-wash agent that spreads into a thick foam stays on the surface longer, giving the product time to act, unlike water which evaporates and runs off quickly. A quality pre-wash agent softens stubborn dirt and helps remove most of it already at the pre-wash stage. This minimizes scratches on the paintwork, thereby preserving its shine for as long as possible!

What is the right product for pre-washing my car?

There are roughly two types of pre-wash agents: wax-safe and non-wax-safe. If your car doesn't have wax or you want to clean it thoroughly, a non-wax-safe pre-wash agent is your choice. These are most often pre-wash agents containing solvents. If, on the other hand, your waxed car needs a pre-wash agent for maintenance washes, your choice would be, for example, Fure Snow Foam.

How to apply pre-wash agent?

A pressure sprayer or a foam cannon can be used to apply the pre-wash agent, which helps spread the pre-wash agent as a thick foam on the car's surface. The benefit of foam is that the pre-wash agent does not dry on the car's surface, and the product has several minutes to act and soften the dirt. This procedure helps wash away as much dirt as possible.
