Best car shampoo?
Does it often happen that you purposefully walk to the car wash product shelf in the store, already knowing you need car shampoo? However, once you reach the shelf, there are so many options that making a choice isn't so easy... Which one is the best car shampoo for you?
The main principle of car shampoos is generally always the same. It is intended for washing cars with a wash mitt. However, there are many different versions of car shampoo on the market. Manufacturers add various features to these that users might want. You can find shampoos that contain wax, provide shine, and so on.
When choosing a shampoo, you must first consider what kind of car it will be used to wash. We now list different situations below and the best car shampoo for each situation.

Waxed car
When your car has been waxed, you certainly want the wax to last as long and as well as possible. In this case, we recommend choosing a pH-neutral, wax-safe car shampoo. Some car shampoos also contain wax, which in this case works perfectly to keep the car's paintwork waxed for as long as possible.
Unwaxed car
For an unwaxed car, it's not as critical whether the car shampoo is wax-safe or pH-neutral, as there's no risk of the existing wax dissolving. Even if the car hasn't been waxed, we don't recommend using just any foaming detergent, such as Fairy. In this case, we recommend using either a normal car shampoo or a car shampoo containing wax to provide a light protective layer to the paintwork.
Coated car
With a coated car, there is no great risk that the coating will suffer from the strength of the car shampoo. In this case, we recommend using a so-called "pure" car shampoo, meaning one that does not contain wax. There have been cases where the wax contained in the shampoo has clogged the coating on the car's paintwork, and after that, it no longer functioned as intended. Car coating is usually done by a trained professional, so check with them what kind of shampoo they recommend for your car.
Matte finish car
For a car with a matte finish, it is important to use car shampoos specifically designed for it. Normal car shampoos can contain wax, which can cause streaks and patches on the surface when the car dries. Use either a pure wax-free car shampoo or a car shampoo specifically designed for matte finishes.
Wrapped car
For a wrapped car, first determine whether the wrapped surface is glossy or matte. If the surface is glossy, the same instructions as for a waxed car apply. Strong detergents can damage the wrap. If, however,
